Use Floss to Fix a Crack
Last week I filmed the process of cleaning up the shoulder of a mortise and tenon joint for my Workbench Class (at Home) students. My shoulder plane caught the far corner of the work and nearly blew it out. I immediately reached for the glue and a reel of dental floss.
I've seen all manner of techniques to pull glue into a crack, but this one is is probably the simplest.
This session of the class is already underway, but it's going well, so there will be another. If you're interested in the next round, you can learn more here or contact me here and I'll put your name on the waiting list.
