Once the horse is complete we'll use it to shape the legs for a simple staked sawbench. You'll find this bench a handy a piece of furniture to have alongside the horse when shaping parts.

This 6 day class will take you through to process of building and customizing a shavehorse to suit your needs as a green woodworker. Each student will choose a bench on the first day of class and get to work turning the stack of prepared part blanks into a beautiful and functional tool.
